Sun, sea, sand . . . and shopping!

I've had a wonderful day out today accompanied by my lovely daughter Sophie and my dear friend Lisa and her eldest daughter Natalie. We headed off for a dose of retail therapy in the town of Swansea where the girls really did shop until they dropped ~ well, that is until they were tempted by the offer of a trip down to the Mumbles coast for ice cream!!

A walk along the front taking in the sea air was the perfect end to a lovely day, topped of by a visit to the grand opening of a brand new shop that opened only just today ~ what luck!

Red House Quilting is situated at 4 Cornwall Place, Mumbles and is stocked full of all the 'lovelies' you'd expect - from fabrics to threads, to notions and crafts - there really is no way you can walk out empty handed!

Why not visit them at

Inside you'll find a friendly and welcoming reception from a truely hands-on family run business . . . I'll definately be paying another visit real soon but for now here is a glimpse of today's spoils!

Sounds like a lovely day out, I haven't been to Swansea for years! Great shopping too! Thank you for your comment, I'm glad you like the mirror, but it doesn't have pride of place, that's my wall hanging from you, which is hanging where I used to have a big mirror! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
